Skipton Tennis Club - resurfacing tennis courts
The Skipton Tennis Club has undergone a significant playing surface redevelopment over the past 2 years and Stockyard Hill Wind Farm has contributed to over half of the cost of this project. Sport is such an important part of physical and mental health in smaller, rural communities, and Stockyard Hill Wind Farm is pleased to support the cause to improve the Skipton Tennis Club facilities.
Skipton Recreation Reserve
With the contribution from Stockyard Hill Wind Farm, Skipton Recreation Reserve were able to purchase a new Mower that was light, reliable, comfortable for the user, is 4-wheel drive and most importantly, safe. The funding assists the Skipton Recreation Reserve deliver improvements to their ground whilst making life easier for their generous volunteers.
Skipton War Memorial Swimming Pool - blankets
The Skipton Swimming Pool received funding over 3 years to replace their old pool blanket. The blanket helps keep the water warm for their many swimmers including lap swimmers, exercise classes, school groups and the general community.
Upper Mt Emu Creek Landcare - Free Tree Planting program
The Upper Mount Emu Creek Land Care group has been supported with funds for a program to provide native trees to community members. The money will help increase the Network’s Free Tree Planting Program to areas around the Stockyard Hill Wind Farm.
Skipton Progress Association - Town Christmas party
Stockyard Hill Wind Farm supported the Skipton Progress Association by providing funds for their annual town Christmas party where the district comes together to celebrate Christmas with a BBQ, Santa and entertainment for kids.
Beaufort Agricultural Society - Annual Agricultural Show
Stockyard Hill Wind Farm was the major sponsor at the 2017 show in November. The Beaufort Agricultural Show prides itself on providing a lot of activities for patrons to do and plenty of entertainment to watch. This encourages families to stay longer and take the opportunity to meet other members of the community and have a chat.
