Stockyard Hill Wind Farm achieves hold point one status
Goldwind Australia today announced that Stockyard Hill Wind Farm, located 35 kilometres west of Ballarat in Victoria, has passed its first hold point test, and is now approved by the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) and Network Services Provider (NSP) to generate up to 30MW into the National Electricity Market (NEM).- click here for further information

Goldwind Australia announced today it has successfully installed the first Goldwind wind turbine at Stockyard Hill Wind Farm.
The wind turbine is the first of 149 Goldwind wind turbines to be installed at the project site, with the remainder to be installed throughout 2019. Full details

Goldwind Appoints Keppel Prince Engineering for major tower contract for Stockyard Hill Wind Farm.
Keppel Prince Engineering (KPE) based in Portland Victoria, has secured a major tower supply contract with Goldwind for the Stockyard Hill Wind Farm, located 35 km west of Ballarat in Victoria.
Goldwind Australia’s Managing Director, John Titchen said Goldwind is very pleased to announce another partnership with Keppel Prince Engineering for the local production of tower sections. Full details

Sale of Stockyard Hill Wind Farm to Goldwind Australia
Under the terms of agreements executed with Goldwind, Origin will sell Stockyard Hill Wind Farm, Australia’s largest wind development, signing a 530 MW long-term PPA from the commencement of operations in 2019 to 2030. Origin will agree to buy all of the power generated by the wind farm and the associated Renewable Energy Certificates for a market leading PPA price of below $60/MWh.
